Privacy Policy

The short version

Stockman is a static blog. We don't run accounts, newsletters, or forms. The site does not collect personal information from you. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) logs standard request data for security and delivery purposes.

What data is collected automatically

When you visit any page on https://stockman.in, our hosting stack processes:

• IP address (for abuse prevention and geographic routing)
• User-agent string (to serve the right assets)
• Referrer URL (how you arrived at the page)
• Timestamps of requests

This is handled by Cloudflare under their own privacy policy, which you can read at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Cookies

We don't set tracking cookies. The site uses a single localStorage entry (theme) to remember your light/dark-mode preference on your own device. That value never leaves your browser.

Embedded content

When you interact with an embedded tool, you are effectively visiting that tool's domain, and their privacy policy applies to that interaction. We do not receive or store any data from your use of the embedded tools.

Some articles also link out to third-party sources (SEBI, exchange websites, news outlets). Clicking through sends you to those sites, which have their own privacy practices that we do not control.

Analytics

Stockman currently runs no analytics tracking (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no equivalent). If this changes in future, this page will be updated and the eventual provider will be named here before any data is collected.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal information, there's nothing for you to request, export, or have deleted. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and explain the request process.

Changes to this policy

We'll post revisions on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes (adding analytics, a newsletter form, etc.) will be explained prominently.
